Charles River Laboratories Announces David J. Elliott to Join Charles River as Corporate Controller
WILMINGTON, Mass., Sep 29, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Charles River Laboratories International, Inc. (NYSE:CRL) announced today that David J. Elliott will join the Company effective October 31, 2005 in the role of Corporate Controller. Mr. Elliott joins Charles River from Cabot Corporation where he served as Corporate Controller. In this position, Mr. Elliott instilled financial controls and positioned the company well for Sarbanes - Oxley.
At Charles River, Mr. Elliott's key responsibilities will include global accounting, financial reporting and compliance with Sarbanes - Oxley. Mr. Elliott will report directly to Thomas Ackerman, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
