WILMINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 12, 2005--Charles River Laboratories International, Inc. (NYSE: CRL) announced today that management will hold a meeting for the investment community on Wednesday, December 14, 2005. Investors as well as the general public are invited to listen to a live webcast of the meeting which is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. and is expected to last until 11:30 a.m. E.T.

A live webcast will be available through a link that will be posted on the Investor Relations section of the Charles River Laboratories website, http://ir.criver.com. A replay of the webcast will be accessible through the same website approximately three hours after the presentation and will remain available until December 21, 2005.
